Suggestion:
Perhaps to organize the Kitchen area in sub categories.. Instead of having all these different forum topics in one..
Have separate categories to generalize the topics...

I actually LIKE the way the Kitchen puts the latest comments forward. If you break into categories, as I've seen elsewhere in a tennis forum I belong, I find you end up in a particular category too long. Fair enough but it seems to me in this Kitchen that having the current posts come to the top keeps it all interesting....assuming people are following stuff etc. It's more like a newspaper front page etc. Of course new topics have to have an interesting "audience catch" in the subject area if they want folks to read it.
Anyway, you all have good suggstions. Riiighttt on me b'ys and maids. Keep 'er going!!!!

I don't like the idea of chopping up the kitchen into sections either.
But it maybe be helpful if it was on a particular crafts craft section
like quilling, Scrap Booking or PSP. Cooking section...computer section ..
But then again we have those type of threads.
But if it comes down to not be able to talk about a certain subject in
the main board.
We learn so much from other people.

I wasn't able to get in to the kitchen for the past couple of days, because of the new name. Whenever I clicked on the name I had in favourites, I got the message that they couldn't find the page, or something like that.
It just dawned on me to try the new name. So if you know someone who may not be aware of this change, might be a good idea to let them know. |

What happens when you Right Click on a picture and select the "Save Image" menu option?

I think chopping up the forum would be goood. Because if you're looking for example of a topic posted about religion, unless someone replied to that topic with the last hour you always have to search back three and four pages. Having categories would help with this, and you can still lhave it so itwill show the last replied topic at the top.
Another suggestion, to help with the problem of PM'ing someone who seems as if they're online, only to find they're not acttually onlline.
How about a 'Last Active feature' Perhaps viewable in the users Profile. All you'd have to do is click their name and in ttheir profile it would say when they were last active...
Just a lil suggestion XD |

Hey Elsie,
Did you try the 'Save Image' button when you right click?
I'm just taking a wild guess, but I assume the current browser you're using to access your clipart is Mozilla Firefox, and I right?
Too save your clipart using FF you need to 'Save Image'
I believe if you use Internet Explorer and access you're clipart the 'Save Picture As' will be present.
Diifferent Browser, different names fr the same function!
I Hope this helps |

Big Sis & Clara
I am going to ask Junior some questions about your requests. I want to be in direct contact with Aaron and see if we can implement the html features. |

I am now awaiting a reply from the powers that be!!! The embedded feature was #1 on my list I for one would like to see it implemented on the kitchen forums! I know the users would enjoy your photography skills. Remember the rotating cube you did of your granddaughter? Now if the tech squad could enable the full html coding.... I know we would have some exciting posts to view |

1. The page numbers at the bottom right needs more contrast or color for the page in use.
2. Posting of images next to the posters name is a waste of memory. All those images have no relationship to the poster or where they live.
3 Allow only one Thread at a time. There are for too many fluff Threads.
People read a thread but reply by stsrting a new thread to reply.
Stop those people who start too many useless threads. One person will post to say THE SUN IS FINALLY SHINING. HERE> another DO YOU BELIEVE THIS?????? then later on the same day will inters DOES YOU HUSBAND DO ANY COOKING????
If you have an informative thread or is seaking info in your thread and you only get in here a couple timea a week don't expect to fine the thread you stsrted.I think some people never leave the Kitchen. |

What resolution is your monitor settings? On my laptop the settings are 1024x768 and in 32bit mode. On my desktop the settings are 1280x1024 and in 32bit mode and the colors are fine. If you have XP, go into the control panel settings of your computer, click on accessibility options, then display. Try the many features of high contrast for easy reading.

If you are referring to the avatar then you need to understand that expression is that variety of life.

Kitchen users post topics on a variety of subjects. What may not interest you will interest others. That is why the Kitchen is unique. Threads come and go!

All you have to do is ignore the threads that do not interest you.

That is what the search feature is for. Very simple to use! |
