No, Big Sis. Earlier today, when DH listed who are online, the moderators were named individually and in red. In the middle of the list were the words: Kitchen Moderators.

I was wondering why those two words were in the list.

Very shortly after I wrote that post, those two words were removed.

You never noticed that, I guess.

Mary, that happens when someone, maybe one of the moderators are logged in to the Moderators account and is logged on. Might even be the folks working on the site.

NIO , I have no idea why your signature shows up on some and not the other replies. Might be a ghost !!!

Oh, I see Lamplighter.

I didn't notice that at the old Kitchen, not even when I was a moderator.

It shows up once per page, in order to make sure the page isn't filled with the same signatures over and over again.

I'd like to see a "PM" button on every post . If I was to PM a poster all I have to do is click the "PM" button on their post.

For me right now I see : Profile, delete , edit , quote. No "PM" button.

I think there should be a rule requiring all users to put QUOTE tags at the beginning and end of an article when they're quoting a source, be it a magazine or any online news source. I picked up this rule from another forum some time back.

Here's another suggestion:

How about, if we open a thread on any page after page one, that when we click on kitchen, we go back to the page we were on instead of the home page.

To me, it's irritating to find a thread that catches my attention, while I'm looking for something else, only to find out that after I open up this post, and close it again, I'm back on page one, and have to start my search again.

Using the search method is good, if you know all the details to put in.

Thanks for the Smilies ..the posters will be so happy.

Arron .

Would it be possible to program the kitchen so when you click on
links ...we will be able to go right in to it......instead of c/p and putting it in the address bar.

I'd like to see at the end of reading a thread I could click on a button and go back. I am too lazy to have to scroll up to the top every time to go back. Please and thank you.

Nobody answered, but I just found the answer anyway.

If you open up the thread on page 10, but this is not the one you are looking for, if you click on the green back arrow at the top left, this will bring you back to page 10. If you click on "Return to Kitchen", this will take you back to page 1.

I hope I don't sound nit picky, but the clock with 0215 pm etc drives me nuts. When I looked first I thought it was military time. It just doesn't make sense and it's confusing.
Everyday is a gift.
