Howdy everyone,
The Kitchen is definitely complete enough for everyone to use again, but I'm sure I've missed at least a few things when I was working on it. So poor Chris doesn't have a heart attack from all the calls he's getting, you can use this thread to let me know any features I've left out.
Also, I'd say it's pretty likely that there are still little bugs with the way things look and work. If you run into anything that makes you say "hmmm" and scratch your head, chances are it's broken and I'll need to fix it. You can let me know about those here.
So feel free to give me your suggestions and let me know which bugs you've found!
One rule, though:
I can't promise that I'll take any suggestions. Some aren't practical. Some aren't possible. I don't make any rules or policies about the kitchen, I'm just doing the programming right now. So, hopefully most suggestions will be about the function of the kitchen rather than the rules or anything.
Already on the To-do List:
- Get back at least some of the old posts.
- Polls in threads
- Attachments in Messages
- Limits on the numbers of private messages (sorry guys!) |

On the upper right hand corner of the profile, there should be an "edit" image button. If you click on that, you get brought to the edit page. Just change any of the information you want and then submit from there.
If the button isn't there or it isn't working for you, I must have shagged something up and I promise I'll fix it. I just tested it and it worked for me, though, so it should be fine.

It's smaller than it was before, for sure. But it's still within I guess what would be the normal range for these things. Just in case it might be on your end, try clicking the "View" menu in your web browser (that's Internet Explorer or Firefox or any other program you use to see this web site), then move your mouse over the "Text Size" menu, then make sure it's not set on "Tiny" or "Smallest" (the names of the different sizes might be different, but I think you can see what I mean).
So it could be that it's smaller than you're used to. If it's too small, we'll probably change it. Or it might be that your web browser is set to show things really small. |

Yeah, that's probably a "taste" and "eyesight" sort of thing. If people think it's too small, I'd be happy to let people change their own type size or to make it bigger.
It'll take a few days to get this stuff sorted out, for sure. |

I find it too small too, Big Sis and Aaron, I have to get on top of the screen.. pretty close anyway, and I have new glasses.
So there are no emoticons? yet?
Good to see it back again!

I'd like to have to be able to read the last post instead of having to read all of a thread, and some sort of back button. That's my wish list Aaron..lol |

You can't go back by way of the back button and like Mary said, you got to put in your password everytime.I'm not complaining, just letting you in on some things that you can probably fix,and yes the print is too small that's why i use the bold lettering.

I think that it should be optional that your e-mail address is shown in your profile. I also miss the always "signed in" option as well....and, while I am at it....the print is too small. I also liked the previous site when you could scroll down and see the posts in the "thread" in which you were responding. |

I'm also suggesting if it's possible to change the font (typeface) we're seeing on the screen from Arial to Verdana as I'm more accustomed to seeing forums using the latter font. |

That's number one on my list! Give me maybe five minutes.
... done. Just pick the "HIDE MY EMAIL, DANGIT!" option when you're editing your profile. I'm pretty sure that's not what I actually called it, but I think you guys can figure it out. |

Now the main forum list thing will link you to some of the pages of any thread that has more than one page of posts (including a "last" page button)! |
