GOOD EVENING FOLKS.... WELL WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES . it is terrible out there now , it sucks big tiime . Snow and drifting even but once it heats up again this won't last on the ground , i hope hahah
I went down for the boat this morning for 9:50 am only to find the line up half way up the hill . Told the Flanders was on its way back from the cove and would be regular schedual . But she bloody tied up for the rest of the day , so the Nonia was to start actually don't know what time it started cuz i left the line up . If i did get to the other side would take the second trip for me to get over plus getting home would be a bloody headache . Soooooooo i am going to try again tomorrow , i think i seen the engine part arrive when i went down for a drive at 2:30 pm so maybe tomorrow the two boats will be on yipeeeeee fingers crossed anyway
Now Witchie girl i hope you win this contest and if you do what do you win . i hope some shopping at the mall .
Sally your most welcome i hope you and Al both had just a wonderful day .
The house smells like Christmas , i made sis a boiled raisin cake , then i made two dark fruit cakes one for a birthday pressie and one to be done up as an Easter Basket to be put on tickets for the ladies of Operation Sunshine and i just took an appple pie and blueberry/partaridge berry one out of the oven so all baking done for the day .
I am waiting now for radio bingo to come on so i can play ...hahaha ... maybe i can win a game . Anyway everyone have a great day wherever you are in the free world lol

Sea, I have a lot of crochet cotton for that woman at the sunshine place. Someone went into a nursing home and they were giving away all her crochet cotton. I said I know someone who could use that so they gave it to me. I'll bring it to the club when I go over again. |

Evening Folks , well better out today the sun was shining . Still didn't get to the city again today but gotta get there tomorrow for dr. appt.

Howdy Folks!
Happy Birthdays to those I missed by being away!
Witchie - voting as often as I can for you - as I mentioned in another thread, when you win you get to make your brother your personal chauffeur and valet for that day (it's part of the rules, tell him to change his specs if he can't read the fine print!) - he has to carry your bags, open the doors and follow you around as your humble servant all day long!
SEA - save me a slice of partridge berry pie - haven't tried it yet - although I just remembered I do have a jar of partridge berry jam in the cupboard I haven't opened yet - hmmmmm... hope the ferry system is back on track so you can make it to the city.
Weather here lately is like a yo-yo - spring one day, then winter the next, and then edging back to spring - go figure!

weather here is also weird, sunny one day freezing the next , we had snow this AM but rain scheduled for thr next couple of days,that should take care of the snow.

Hello folks, that witchie is cleaning up with the votes. We have to keep voting to keep her not just in the top 30 but # 1 and we;re doing a great job so far. It's too bad I won't be there in time for the fashion show.
We had some nice sunshine today but it was still cool. At least the sun is nice.

Kevin wish i could save you some pie lol but think it would be growing fur by the time it would get there hahaha
As for the ferry good golly . i had a dr.. appt in the city today so i went down and the flanders was on , they said it would be running all day while waiting for parts to come . I figured i would get home early .
Gets down to ferry at 4:15 and i get on the Island at 7:30 pm , one ferry on they took the flanders off again . I am not going back to the city again until the two ferries are back on the run . lol
anyway hope everyone had a great day

Don't worry about seeing the show Chick. I'll be there with a half dozen cameras during the show and will use all my charm (if need be) to get to the training sessions also. I probably will only need a little of charm thought. You know me.
