Evenin all, just finished supper and will have to feed the dogs next. Very quiet on the site these days with Moose on the road and Reg retired in never, never land or Labrador and the rest are heavens knows where lol.
Had our weekly band practice last night, cripes he is moving so fast that a lot of us are being left behind. Only a couple of weeks left until it starts again in Sept so I'll have to try and keep at it over the summer as much as possible.
Overcast with drizzle and fog here with a temp of 7. I think that is going to be the norm for the rest of the week.
Well I'm off, have a ggod one. |

Drive safe and hope the border wait won't be as long as it's around Vancouver--
up to a three hour wait a couple days ago.......maybe because of the Cdn. parity with the states. Our friends in Spokane had to fly back home from Yuma a week ago. Her husband had to spend most of his winter in Yuma hospital, and their MH had to be driven back by a member of the Good Sam Club. Thei rRV.ing is over and already putting their MH up for sale. |

Mornin all, going to 8 here today with sunny periods. Out last night for our little band jam session/practice. Missus wasn't feeling well so she missed out.
Will be an uneventful weekend unless the weather improves as we are actually planning on staying home tonight for change. Will watch the Sens on the tube and just veg. Booked tickets to fly home for a week at the end on the month to see the In-Laws. Will be one of the last times I plan to go down just to visit as there are not too many of my crowd left around and I would rather have been heading south.
Moose should be getting close to his home port now so I expect we will hear that he is home by tomorrow. Have a good weekend everyone. |

Hi everyone, just dropping in with a quick Hello. Not
much on the go in this part of the country..... We had
a great winter, not sure if that's good or bad. Every-
thing looks so dry. Hope this won't be the year for
a lot of forest fires...... I know in May 1986 we had
a real bad one. |

Good morning me trouts, beautiful day here today, flowers blooming, the sun is out, what could be better than that?? Watched the Master's on the weekend. Pretty good.
Does anyone watch The Republic Of Doyle? It's some good, I just love it. Filmed in St. John's and has newfie actors. That Doyle is some cute too!! I love seeing some of the places I was in as a youngster. My sister and I are planning a trip home, I can't wait.
Well I hope you all have a great day. Hugs Babs

Evenin all, 7 and overcast with some showers at the moment. Quite a surprise with frost on the car windows this morning but I guess it is only mid April. Very busy at work these days and of course we are short staffed. Have been most of the time in the 5 years since I started there.
Gettin ready to watch the Sens playoff hockey later but have to take my lanmower over to a buddy as it won't start. May be time for a new one.
That's about it from me, see ya later. |

Yes Babs, love the "Republic of Doyle" - very light hearted and an easy watch. Allan Hawco is a cutie for sure. The program really shows St. John's as a beautiful city which of course it is.
Cheers |

TGIF. Headin to Pilot's Pub for supper and off to the casino to see Bittersweet. The only thing better would be if the price of rum fell to $20 for a 60 pounder or if I was boarding a plane for St pete Beach.
Have a great weekend all. |

Hi all still in the mall re internet. Hopefully tomorrow we;ll be hooked up.
I see a black cloud has come over the east coast supposed to be from a volcano in Iceland. I think it might be from the play of Pittsburgh eh Andrew.
Had a few flakes this AM then rain blah.

Evenin all, chilly and wet here today. Only +5 burrrr. Babysitting my cousins cats who left for Jamacia this morning. Where is the justice in that.
Moose, the Sens are not looking good. Especially Spezza who seems to have reverted to his hands of stone or take the puck cause I don't want it days. Combine that with another soft goal in the opening minutes and their goose was cooked.
Double band practice tomorrow night as we get ready for our concert on Sunday. Will have to eat supper on the run tomorrow.
Well I'm off, have a great evening. |

Hi all beautiful day here 17 in the sun. Pressure washed the deck, tomorrow the chairs are out and then lay back time on the deck.
Andrew perhaps the Sens and Habs have to try and play each other then at least one team from CD will get to 2nd round. not that it makes much difference as half the players in the league are from away anyway.
we are spring cleaning for a big yard sale next month and left overs to sally Ann thrift shop.
Watching NFLD news last night and some guy put a beating on a cop car etc. Man is bonkers.

Hi all, pretty nice day here so I'm off to take the doggies for a walk. Band practice tonight and our concert on Sunday. Had to go rent a saxophone when my strap came unhooked and mine fell on the floor and broke. Never a dull moment lol.
Have a great weekend everyone. |
