Happy shopping in Buffalo All. I can see the Galleria Mall now, the shiny floors, the glass elevator, and all the beautiful stuff on sale, and Eastern Hills and the Niagara Outlet Mall ,oh my! Oops, there I am, dreaming again of cross border shopping.

It looks like we're getting snow on Thursday and guess which day my daughter is coming from Ontario. You got it! No friggin' snow all winter and we'll get it all on the day she arrives. They're talking 20+ cm. Maybe it will blow over us. The snowmobilers are dying for snow.

Have a good one everyone.

That's one thing I miss about Ontario. You could get in the car and drive to Toronto, Buffalo, wherever you felt like, have a weekend and come home. Here the island aspect eliminates all that. We have other things to balance it out but every now and then I'd like to just get in the car and go to a big city for the weekend. I think I must be a city slicker at heart. Although when I'm in the city I miss the ocean. Oh my, that's my rant for today.

The sun is shining and it's beautiful today. Clayton they had predicted up to 15 cm but last night they were saying 15 - 20 + with high winds. It's not supposed to start till in the morning so hopefully it will come late and not as much as they're expecting. She arrives at noon. As long as she can get in I'll be happy.

Have a good one everyone.

Clayton, you sure you and Cynth didn't go a little further....say....as far as St. Pat's Lane. Next time you're in that area have a look around for a couple of odd socks I left there during one of my fast exits. Man, how I hated it when the light would come on over the door.

My condolences to the Ford family. Bart will be greatly missed.
Bart passed away last night after a long hard battle with cancer.

That's a lovely picture Clayton. Wasn't it a great day yesterday! Don and I went for a walk down by the bay and I took my new little camera. The quality is not as good as the Cannon but it's tiny and can fit in my pocket so it's easy to take on a walk. Here are a couple of my pictures. I took a video too but I'm trying to figure out how to post it other than YouTube because you lose so much quality on YouTube.

This is my favourite

And of course, the old rock

Clayton, yes I'm hoping it won't be a big deal. They're saying 15cm again now but the winds are supposed to pick up around noon and her flight arrives 11:49. They've closed the schools here but right now is just snowing a bit, not bad at all. I hope it stays that way.

Hi everyone
The good old days, took alot more then just snow for us to be home lol,we went no matter what, weather had to be very very bad for schools to close.

I heard about Bart,he put up a fight with this cancer,he is not suffering anymore but not easy still on the family.

it isn't warm here but we have the sun and just snow that is left fr way back lol.

I wonder sometimes how Kev is doing,I should send Dave a note,fr what I know, him and his wife talk to them.
They knew Kev when they were younger.

tc everyone
