Yes indeed, great job Eagle.

Thanks canajun and Chris (SGN). It's there for your listening enjoyment, with new 'stuff' being added periodically.

In addition I made it interactive if you wish to try a few of your own in the Downhome Kitchen Members folder. Just don't overload their server. And the only requirements, create a folder with your Kitchen Nickname and upload .mp3 files @ 128kbps or less, and keep your uploaded collection small and manageable. Otherwise I will have to delete everything else.

I discovered two things tonight.

First one is while giving a listen to Willie Nelson I upload a short while ago I found that 18 of the 28 songs on cd1 were listed on the packaging with the wrong titles. Those were the titles I used in the conversion to MP3. I have listened sections of the cd but never checked the listings against the song played.

The song titles have now been corrected in NE's player. Did anyone catch this oversight and wonder what substance I was on?

The second thing I discovered is a new Southern Country Band (to me) although they have been around for a while and won New band of the year, had five No. 1 hits from this album, Hit No. 1 with their first debut single, which only four others had done before. They also won other awards and others are pending this year. They are still climbing the charts in May of this year. They have hits in both the country and pop charts.

They remind me of so many other great stars but without giving the feeling of copying any of them. Depending on the song, I hear strains of Jimmy Buffett, Leonard Cohen, to Charlie Daniels and others.

They are the Zac Brown Band and the cd is titled The Foundation. Well worth a listen for country music lovers. it is uploading as I type.

Thanks for the uploads, Jack!!

Didn't recognize the name Zac Brown Band - but when I played the album, I recognized their No. 1 hits right away! Great choice!!

I'm going to have to find some time (when I'm not listening to all the music posted in a certain other thread) to work my way through that Willie Nelson collection. I used to have a lot of cassettes of Willie; but, they got lost somewhere during the last move. So I'm really going to enjoy this treasure!

Thanks again!

Terrific player. New here and having a lot of fun checking up on downhome.
Going home in July for 10 days from Kitchener On. Will definitely spend some more time at the kitchen. Have a great one.

Willie Nelson made some great music, it's amazing to me, just how over looked he is.
