Hi everyone... Home today, but heading back again later...Have to pick up 3 scallywags to bring camping...LOL..They love coming out with us...
I can't seem to get in here on the old computer at the trailer...Don't know why...But I think maybe I'll log off this one and see if it matters, when I get out there..
Labbie and Squashberry, I just love Corner Brook in the fall...I've never seen such beautiful colours..
Trees are starting to turn here, as well...Seems very early for us....
Well, better get on the run, here....Hi Nova, hope the bees are staying away from you....Hi to all the gang....Have a good weekend.. |

Hi all;
I am all done with the berry picking here - except for the grapes and they are slow and not so plentiful this year.
I will probably have to mow one more time and do some trimming ( Pat, I am hoping that the bees, wasps and hornets will give me some space ! ).
The leaves are starting to colour up here as well - we went from " too darned hot and humid" to " too darned confounded cold" - not much of a summer to speak of - hope the fall does stretch out a bit. We had our annual Ciderfest this past weekend and the weather did co-operate for that this year - no rain to speak of.
Glad that you had a nice vacation on the "other" coast Labbie - remember we usually say - the West Coast, the Best Coast....( I am ducking here - LOL ).....
Soon be deer hunting season Squashberry - I saw four nice big ones in my upper the field the other evening - if they are smart they will stay there - no hunting in that area cause it is too close to houses.
Hope everyone has a good weekend - bet camping with the grandkids is fun Pat. |

Our weather here in Oshawa has been lovely, sunny, but not hot. Good for walking.
I'm pet sitting again, and when I opened the window blinds and drapes this morning, I noticed that the tree across the street is so red it looks like it is on fire. But the tree on this lawn is the same type, and it is still mostly green. Weird. Evenings and mornings are cool. Strange for southern Ontario, this early in the month. |

Good morning, folks....Mary, it is early for our trees to be changing...But we couldn't have had a better September...
Hey Squashberry, I have a picture of the trees around the Humber River in Autumn.....Unbelievable!!
Mike, I'm sorry I never took a copy of that video, we all sent around a few years back....
Labbie, I love this season...It's so comfortable, for me....I can breath again!! LOL..And no bugs is a bonus!!
Nova, we've started raking and cleanig the campsite...I have to start taking things out of the trailer, soon...I only take out what may freezer over winter...
We had a great time with the kids at the park...We took them to about 6 garage sales...They picked up all kinds of stuff, for mom to store...LOL...And we went to a cookie factory...How cool was that...Now they think I'm the best Gramma in the world...LOL..
We are heading back to the trailer later today...We have a Thanksgiving pot luck with the campers on Saturday...
Have a great day, everyone....Take care.. |

Hi all. The fall colours are nice - I think ! -
It is hard to see through all the rain , rain, rain. I see that there is snow in Alberta - think I still would rather the rain - hate snow. I know Squashberry looks forward to it for his skiing - just keep in NL hey Squash ?
Not much else on the go here - hopefully I have finished mowing for the season - still need to do some trimming and tidying up outside before I cover up the gazebo and the platform swing for the winter. I have begun some minor Christmas things - card making etc. - not much enthusiasm going for it just yet.
Hello to Pat, Labbie, we are canadian, Mary R - and all the peekers. I hope everybody has a nice Thanksgiving. |
